On 1 February the national show took place. This year not beneath the iconic Atomium, but on the tracks of Bomaco in Asse, which proved a worthy replacement. Premier<\/a> was approved in September for life thanks to his strong, high-quality group of offspring.<\/strong> That gave us the perfect reason to let him shine one more time at the national show. All preparations were made to present Premier to the public in top condition. Everything went smoothly and, with the necessary help, Premier came fully into his own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the day of the national competition, Premier showed himself from his very best side \u2014 he looked as if he had just come straight out of a gift box. In his class, that box even got a big ribbon: Premier won the class. The many congratulations, including some from unexpected corners, were accompanied by the words, \u201cAnd now on to the championship.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the championship, Premier appeared a bit more nervous, but as a sire he made quite an impression. He ultimately finished in a respectable third place and was therefore third overall. Perhaps we had secretly hoped for more, but he won the hearts of the audience \u2014 and that is something we are at least just as proud of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
